The World Bank is the Trustee of the FCPF’s Readiness Fund and Carbon Fund, and provides secretariat services through a Facility Management Team. The Facility Management Team administers the Funds and makes proposals to the FCPF Participants Committee, and provides country advisory services and REDD methodology support.
In addition, the Facility Management Team works with other units of the World Bank to assist REDD Countries in preparing and implementing their R-Plans at their request, and ensure that FCPF operations comply with applicable World Bank Group policies in the areas of safeguards, procurement and financial management.
